"Here it is. I am currently drawing kitty versions of characters, so I decided to draw Ash, and make her a kitty. At first, I only had a black and white image to go by, as the printer in my Yearbook class only prints out in black and white, so I first thought that Ash's hair and eyes were brown, and colored them so. Then, I went back to the site, and realized that Ash's hair was orange and her eyes green. Granted, it took awhile to re-outline those parts and recolor them, but I finished, sort of. "Xalan requested a picture of Basil, and when I read the story and checked out her character, I was absolutely thrilled to do so. She had such a free spirit, and great hair! At the same time, this picture is kind of a tribute to "Nightwalker." I decided that the show needed to lighten up, and Basil was the just the person to do so, which is how I came up with the pose and everything. I used pastels for this, then wet over everything with an airbrush and eraser on the computer for the finished product. " Sabrina's website
