"He's a dragon and so I had to draw him. Interesting how you've given him an alignment of chaotic good when he likes to dine on the local population. I got a bit creative with his dragon appearance, I hope you don't mind. For some reason I wanted to show his black hair so I turned it into a mane. I couldn't find his colour so I made him a red dragon as they are particularly hot tempered. (I can change it if I'm wrong.) "I told myself I was going to do something really really cool this time and stop slacking off. So, here it is! I took Sunstrike's panel showing the catboy stabbing this woman in a dream and made my own dramatic version of it. Instead of the characters being wide-set, so that its easy on the eye to see what is happening (useful in a comic, since it needs to be easy to 'read'), I made the whole picture very compact, with things connected and curling around each other. The braid and sword form a 'v' that points like an arrow into the tangle of bodies and I used the red color pencil to help draw the eye around. Its actually quite a large drawing, and it took me a rough draft, to get this clean one, since the positions were difficult. "When I read about Basil, I was really struck by her plight of becoming more and more mechanical and less organic, so I wanted to portray that! "I actually thought I might have been late this round, but I managed to pull through. Due to Evil T. Bishounen's unearthly treatment of his henchman Rufio and that certain hair dying incident in the comic. I decided to pull an Evil T. and drew Rufio with a Devil's headband and the little angel on his shoulder with pink wings and matching halo.
