" I was particularly moved by the attack on Jade's home by orcs in Tranquil's manga. Awesome fights and decent writing. Jade, a young adult seedling (plant person), lost both her mother and possibly her fiance and was left with her half-sister Glory (part dragon -- explains the wings) and Glory's pet Chee the fire-squirrel (which wasn't in this picture because I can't draw animals walking.) So, I drew Jade and Glory walking away from the remains of their old life.This is the first nighttime picture where I didn't use overlays to darken the characters." Stareyes's website
